Innate Flow's mission is to support clients in building a foundation of self-love through conscious eating, breathing, sleeping, feeling, thinking and moving.
Innate Flow envisions a world in which each person takes ownership over their mind-body, using health as a catalyst to increase loving awareness for themselves and others.
I became aware of my mind-body imbalances as I finished my graduate degree in the summer of 2014. I was living in Germany finishing an internship with the United Nations, and was experiencing the end of a long-term romantic relationship.
My breath was tight and in my chest. What was worse, my student housing block had black mold.
All of this put me into a tailspin of stress, anxiety and fear of an uncertain future.
I went about researching different health protocols to heal the mold exposure and in turn, optimize my mental and physical health. Along the way I found Wim Hof’s teachings on breath and the cold, which set me on the path of healing my mind, body and spirit. This included exploration of Paul Chek's work, Reiki energy healing and storywork coaching.
Since beginning this journey I have worked in the non-profit sector leading a community organization using food surplus to feed vulnerable social groups in Amsterdam, and in emergency management improving how disaster response is delivered across the U.S.
In this work, the intuitive examination of interconnected systems taught me the ways of seeing through the noise and delving to the root of the unique challenges our systems face. Thus addressing them in a comprehensive and global way.
The same way they must be brought to the light within our Mind-Body-Spirit.
Through all of this, breathwork, primal nutrition, energy work, and functional movement have been critical in aiding me to stay grounded and open.
Innate Flow views health as a system of systems, where the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual are all considered when addressing the things that are limiting you in your capacity to live a fully self-actualized life.
